This is how it started out, lets see what happens as it is taken apart, 100% restored, customized, and put back together.

For best access to all areas, a rotisserie is a must.

Areas of perforation rust not requiring panel replacement will be treated differently from surface rust areas. Damage is already done here and will be dealt with accordingly.

Here was a combination of perforation and surface rust. Note the tacking in of the new full LR quarter panel. The original was beyond repair but had been hidden by a pretty paint job.

Other areas of rust, common to old Camaros, will be repaired.

If the rust is too bad the panel may be partially removed and replaced if a complete panel is not necessary. We try to keep as much original metal as possible.

Here we have both new quarter panels welded in and ready to start the finish work.

Here you can see the addition of frame extensions. These are made to tie the front subframe to the rear frame rails for added strength, especially needed on convertibles.

Finally in the paint booth for final primer and then on to paint.

With the subframe painted, the color will start appling over the entire car.

The under side is coated with "OTO", a chip resistant coating prior to painting.
