|Album: 1966 Chevelle Malibu|
This is an original California car until it was moved to Virginia in 2009. It appears to have had only 1 repaint and there are no signs of undercarriage or body rust. It is finished in Marina Blue with white top and blue interior. The odometer is showing 41,900 miles and is believed to be original as documented. The interior appears to be all original and supports the age and wear for 40K miles of usage. From an appearance standpoint the car is as it was purchased in ’09 except for buffing the paint and replacing a few trim components, clips, and top boot. The major upgrades were performed to the mechanical components which were extensive. They include a new GM 350 long block assembly with upgraded camshaft, electronic ignition, short tubular headers, fuel pump, water pump, indexed harmonic balancer, Edelbrock carb, intake manifold, and appearance upgrades. The powerglide transmission was replaced with a rebuilt 700R4 with a new torque converter. The brake system was upgraded from manual 4 wheel drum to power 4 wheel disc with grooved/drilled rotors. The stock rear end was retained and is believed to be original to the car but now has new bearings. This all sits on Coys wheels with Nitto 225/45ZR-18 tires on the front and Nitto 275/40ZR-18 on the rear, new springs, and KYB shocks front and rear. A RetroSound USA-1 radio was added as was a booster and upgraded speakers. There has been over $26K in upgrades, improvements, and modifications. This excellent driving, air conditioned, turnkey convertible is currently being offered for sale at only $59,995, and is ready to drive away! Reasonable offers will be considered. |Album: 1969 Camaro RS Convertible|
This car is an EXCELLENT candidate for a restoration. Everything is there! Cocktail shakers are still in all 4 corners, original 307 engine, original Powerglide transmission, original rear end, and it is a FACTORY Air Conditioned Convertible. The radio has been changed but the owner has the original AM radio which goes with the car. It has only 67,000 original documented miles, original owners manual and storage pouch, and protect-o-plate. Original jack is in the trunk. One repaint was done approx. 25 years ago and in some areas is showing signs of that. There is some rust under the trunk mat but not rusted through. The car is ready to drive but has been sitting indoors for several years and should be checked over and serviced before it is put back on the road full time. This is not our car but belongs to a customer. The information in this posting is believed to be true and accurate to the best of our knowledge. Personal or professional inspect is advised for validation and condition purposes. This is a rare opportunity to own an unrestored 69 Camaro RS Convertible with factory A/C, PS, PB, and Power Top. This is a 2nd owner car and it has been in his possession for 30+ years. The owner is asking $40,000 but would consider serious, reasonable offers. He knows what he has got and will not give the car away. Please, serious buyers only should inquire. Call Page Customs 804-784-5541.
